Guests are transported to a scenic location on Yellowknife Bay via 29-foot voyageur canoes. There we will enjoy a traditional meal of soup and bannock complemented by lively entertainment featuring music and dramatic presentations of historic northern events. All ages welcome! Each tour will be different, so plan on joining us several times over the summer.

A one-day guided tour by canoe or kayak on one of Yellowknife’s many scenic paddle routes. Boats and shore lunch are provided.
Paddling Half-Day Tour
$50/per person per hour
Minimum 2 people
Explore Yellowknife from a different point of view: the water. Your experienced guide will take you paddling around Back Bay and Yellowknife Bay. Get up close and personal with parked house boats and float planes.
North Arm Living History 6-Day Paddling Tour
6 days, $995
Learn to safely prepare for an extended wilderness paddling tour. Two planning sessions are followed by a 6 day tour by canoe, kayak or voyageur canoe along the North Arm of spectacular Great Slave Lake. Paddling equipment and food are supplied. Lake Canoe or Kayak Levels 1&2 is a firm prerequisite. Our staff will be in costume and in character each evening to re-enact stories of illustrious people and events that have shaped our community.
Guests particiapte in a canoe day tour and an overnight canoe camping experience. They learn about teh signifigance of the canoe to our Canadian Heritage and how to be an environmentally friendly camper. Contact us to plan your Northern camping trip.
Voyageur Canoe Day Tours
Travel back in time along the scenic shores of Yellowknife Bay aboard our traditional 12-person canoes. Their superior stability paired with the exceptional skill of our pilots provides an authentic canoeing experience with minimal prerequisite skill. A unique outdoor adventure for birthday or office parties, schools or visiting friends and family of all ages. Call us to arrange a full or half-day outing for your group (minimum 6 people).
Join us on a scenic 45 minute drive to one of several beautiful hiking trails just outside the City. Hikes range in length from 1 to 3 kilometres and include destinations such as Cameron Falls and Big Hill Lake. An adventure full of colour in the Fall!

Spend the day visiting our experienced fishing guide’s secret fishing spots on Great Slave Lake. Traveling by motor boat you can try and hook a Northern Pike, Ling Cod, Lake Trout, or Whitefish! Fishing and safety gear is provided. All guests must obtain a fishing license in advance.
Motor Boat Tour
1 hour. Minimum two guests. $75/person.
