Voyageur Canoe Day Tours

Travel back in time along the scenic shores of Yellowknife Bay aboard our traditional 12-person canoes. Their superior stability paired with the exceptional skill of our pilots provides an authentic canoeing experience with minimal prerequisite skill. A unique outdoor adventure for birthday or office parties, schools or visiting friends and family of all ages. Call us to arrange a full or half-day outing for your group (minimum 6 people).

 

Night Tour: Aurora by Voyageur Canoe

6pm-2am $250/person

Travel by 29-foot voyageur canoe up Yellowknife River to view the Aurora. A traditional meal of soup, bannock and beverages are provided. Experience aurora above and auroa below, once called an “aurora sandwich” by one of our guests. (August-September) (Minimum 8 people.)

 

Motor Boat Tour

1 hour.  Minimum two guests. $75/person.

Explore our beautiful community from a unique perspective, including Yellowknife Bay and beyond.  2 and 3 hour rates also available.

 

Hiking Tour

$95/person

Join us on a scenic 45 minute drive to one of several beautiful hiking trails just outside the City. Hikes range in length from 1 to 3 kilometres and include destinations such as Cameron Falls and Big Hill Lake. An adventure full of colour in the Fall!

 

Ice Cave Adventure

1 hour, $50/person (December through April)

Enjoy a guided walk on scenic Great Slave Lake to the intriguing Ice Caves (minimum 2 people)

Add $35/person to go by snow machine!
